Refund Policy - D.I.D Electrical

IN-STORE RETURNS POLICY

• Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method, or as a credit note or exchange.
• Items must be in original, undamaged packaging with all documentation and tamper-proof seals intact.
• Receipt must accompany the returned product.
• Goods that are used, unsaleable, or missing parts may be refused for a return.
• Promotional items included in the original sale must also be returned, or their value will be deducted from the refund.

Returns Policy Exclusions:

• Installed kitchen appliances, special order items, DID vouchers, and personal hygiene products are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
• Headphones and technology products with a broken tamper-proof seal, like software, laptops, tablets, wearables, and mobile phones, are excluded.
• Ex-display items are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

IN-STORE RETURNS REFUND CONDITIONS

• Refunds will be made to the original form of payment.
• Credit/debit card refunds must be processed to the same card used for purchase.
• Cheque or bank draft payments will be refunded by cheque within 10 working days.
• Refunds from DID vouchers or credit notes will receive a new voucher/credit note.
• If the original payment method is unavailable, a DID voucher will be issued.
• Maximum cash refund in-store is €300. Amounts exceeding €300 will be refunded by cheque within 10 working days.

This policy does not affect legal rights.

USAGE POLICY

• Products are for domestic use only. Commercial use may void warranties.

GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

• Report damaged goods within 3 days of delivery to Customer Support.

REPAIR OF FAULTY GOODS

• For repairs, bring the item to a store or contact Customer Support.
• Large appliances will be serviced at home and should not be disconnected.
• Repairs are subject to the availability of parts and the ability to replicate the fault.
• Data loss during the repair is not the responsibility of DID Electrical.

ONLINE RETURNS POLICY

• This policy applies to products bought online or via distance selling.
• Customers can cancel orders up to 30 days after physical possession of goods.
• Items must be in as sold condition with original packaging for cancellation.
• Returns must be shipped back within 30 days of the cancellation notification.
• Cancellation notifications can be via post or email.

Terms Applying to Cancellation:

• Customers bear the cost of returning goods, except for items that cannot be returned by post.
• Full refund excluding standard delivery charges will be issued upon return receipt.
• Diminished value of goods from excessive handling will affect the refund amount.
• Electronic goods with data, installed software, or broken seals are not accepted for return.
• Hygiene products with a broken seal are non-returnable.
• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of either receipt of returned goods or evidence of sending the goods back.

• Old appliances are taken back free of charge, but they must be emptied and disconnected before the team arrives. Alternatively:

  • A return recycling collection service is available for a charge of €29.99.
• Nationwide delivery within 2-5 working days (ROI Only).

Small item delivery:

• Operation is nationwide with couriers DPD, five days a week (Mon - Fri, excluding bank holidays).
• Upon dispatch from the warehouse, an email with a tracking number is sent.
• Single small item delivery is priced at €5.99 with an additional €1.50 for each subsequent small item.
• The maximum delivery charge for combined small or large items is €29.99.
