The History of McDonald’s.

The brand was created by two brothers without any previous experience in marketing so they followed a simple rule: to find the easiest solution. Richard and Maurice McDonald moved to California in 1930 to find their way of living. That kind of restaurant wasn't one of its kind, it was one out of many. Over time they changed the image and gained new clients like families with children and young people. The crowd of customers was so large that they introduced the production tapes to the building and started to serve hamburgers for 15 cents in 15 minutes.

The famous M sign of McDonald's was created by one of the brothers and wasn’t well received at the beginning. The clown Ronald started to be the face of the company in 1965 so after 20 years of the company’s existence. In 1961 Ray Kroc bought the rights to the company. For five years he was working for free in his own restaurants and he managed to create a chain worth millions of dollars worldwide. The company started to examine the technology of frying French fries and was an innovator on the market when it comes to the equipment in the restaurant's kitchen. Now the headquarter is in Chicago but serves its meals in over 100 countries in 32 thousands of restaurants. 40% of them are located in the United States, 20% in Europe and 30% in Asia and Pacific Region. Every 14.5 opens a new restaurant.

It is said that if you put each hamburger, ever sold in the McDonald’s, one on the other, the hamburger line will reach the mood.

The restaurant serves burgers and sandwiches, chicken and fish, breakfasts, salads, snack and sides. In McCafé you can always buy tasty coffee, cold drinks or delicious desserts at the same quality as in the fancy coffee shop but in the lower price. In every region the restaurant tries to serve something unique, the offer consists of the products which are unique to this region. In Germany, there is a burger with bratwurst and McBeer for dinner and in Australia, the children taste Pasta Zoo which is actually ravioli.

The first restaurant under this brand was opened in 1998 in Lahore and met with enthusiasm from the citizens of Pakistan. There are now 34 restaurants in the biggest cities in Pakistan. The McDonald's here as like in every country is opened to the charities and sponsorship.
