Complaints and returns in Bonmarche

Return to Store - Free
Items bought online may be returned to any open Bonmarché store within 28 days of receipt. The items must be in their original condition with all tags attached and the delivery note must be provided as proof of purchase. If the full order is returned, the delivery charge will be refunded. For orders placed via PayPal or for brands such as Izabel London, Mudflower, and Saloos, returns must be made directly to the warehouse.

Returns by Evri or Post
Items can be returned via Evri or post within 28 days of receipt, in their original condition and with the returns slip completed. If the full order is returned, the original delivery charge will be refunded. Certain items such as unsealed cosmetics, and lingerie without the hygiene strip, among others, are non-refundable. Gift cards and e-gift vouchers cannot be refunded. Postage costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer.

Faulty Items
Faulty items can be returned using the instructions on the delivery note. Upon receipt and inspection of the item, if a fault is confirmed, a refund will be actioned. Return of a faulty item is also possible in stores upon inspection.

Returning Underwear, Lingerie and Swimwear
Returns on knickers are not accepted for hygiene reasons, whereas bras may be returned. Swimwear can be returned if the hygiene seals are intact.

Returning Goods Bought On Promotion
For items bought as part of a multi-buy discount or promotion, the refund amount will be adjusted accordingly. All items from "buy one, get one free" or similar offers must be returned together. Discounts and promotions cannot be applied to subsequent purchases and if an item is returned from a larger order, the proportional discount will be deducted from the refund.

Returning Items Bought In Store
Items bought in-store must be returned to a store within 28 days of receipt, except for sale items which have a 14-day return period. The items have to be in their original condition with proof of purchase. The same hygiene restrictions apply as with online purchases.

Branded Items
Certain brands, including Izabel London, Saloos, Mudflower, DORINA and Brave Soul, must be returned directly to the Bonmarché website. Branded items purchased elsewhere cannot be returned in Bonmarché stores.

Returning goods bought with a gift card or e-gift voucher
Returns where payment included a gift card or e-gift voucher will see refunds applied to the gift card first or a new e-gift voucher issued. Orders placed online with a gift card or e-gift voucher and returned to a store will be refunded via credit note, which cannot be redeemed online.

• If a purchase is made using an e-gift voucher and a return is processed, refunds will be issued via email in the form of a new e-gift voucher.
• Old-style paper gift vouchers cannot be redeemed online.

Returns processing for items paid with a gift card or e-gift voucher:

1. Orders placed online and paid for with a gift card or e-gift voucher that are returned in-store will be refunded via a credit note.

Orders are processed and delivered within 4 to 7 working days by Evri, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Gift cards are delivered free of charge. A charge of £3.50 is applied for orders under £30. The £30 free delivery threshold is calculated on the sub-total shown in the bag after all order and product discounts have been applied.

Express Delivery - £4.50
Express delivery option is available through Evri. Orders placed by 5pm Monday to Friday are eligible for next day express delivery with Evri. Orders placed after 5pm on Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday. Delivery times may be extended for certain areas including Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, and selected UK mainland areas.

• Collect In-Store Free - Orders arrive in-store within 14 days from ordering with no charge.
• Collect In-Store Standard - Delivery to the store occurs within 3-5 days, excluding weekends and bank holidays, with orders placed by 5pm on weekdays. This service is free for orders over £30. For orders under £30, a delivery charge of £1.99 is applied.
• Collect In-Store Express - £2.99. Orders placed by 5pm on weekdays are delivered to the store within 48 hours, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
