How to return purchases in Cook Unity?

Credits and Refunds

If a meal is not satisfactory, customers must contact the customer service team at support@cookunity.com within 2 days of delivery. The eligibility for a full or partial credit or refund will be determined based on the circumstances. Cook Unity retains the final decision on issuing refunds or credits.

To qualify for a credit or refund, Cook Unity may require the return of the meal(s) or photographic evidence showing the issue with the meal. Credits or refunds will not be issued if this evidence is not provided. In special circumstances, credits or refunds may be applied to the customer's Cook Unity account.

Technical issues that require escalation may delay resolution and credits, refunds, or adjustments cannot be processed until the problem is fully resolved.

Cancel or Modify Services/Plans

You may cancel or modify a subscription to a Plan through your CookUnity account or by contacting customer support. However, charges that have already been incurred will not be refunded.

There is a strict cutoff time for plan modifications, which is four to six days prior to the delivery day at noon. After this cutoff, cancellations and modifications are not allowed, and any charges incurred after this time will not be the responsibility of Cook Unity. Refunds or adjustments are not applicable after the cutoff date.

Skipping deliveries should be confirmed via email, and failure to verify the skipping process may result in charges that are not subject to adjustments or order cancellations after the cutoff time.

Termination of participation in the CookUnity Platform can occur at any time, by either the customer or CookUnity, via email and without the need for further explanation. Reactivation of accounts can only be done by the customer.

Shipping Problems

Cook Unity is not responsible for missing orders confirmed as delivered by the carrier. If Cook Unity does not meet the correct delivery instructions given by the customer, credit equivalent to the value paid may be applied for replacement orders.

In case of inclement weather or if the delivery location is inaccessible, arrangements for an alternate delivery location or date will be made.

Customers must provide correct shipping information and special delivery instructions. Upon delivery, inspecting the contents for defects or other issues is the customer's responsibility.

If a customer is not present to receive an order during the designated timeslot, and they cannot be reached, Cook Unity is not obligated to reimburse or credit the order.

Force Majeure

Cook Unity will not be held liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing their obligations due to events outside their reasonable control, known as a Force Majeure Event.

Gift Cards and Vouchers

Gift Cards must be redeemed through the CookUnity account, and sales are final and nonrefundable. CookUnity is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards, and these cannot be replaced unless required by law.

Vouchers hold their offer only for the first week unless stated otherwise and are valid for one-time use for first-time customers only.

Welcome Promotion and Referral Credits

Welcome promotions are valid only for first-time subscribers for the duration specified, and cannot be postponed or refunded. Referral credits are limited to one per household and must be used within 45 days of issue.

CookUnity may limit how often Referral Codes can be shared and has the right to suspend accounts and revoke credits if they are inappropriately earned or used.

• Response to Late Orders:
  For late orders, Cook Unity endeavours to send proactive notifications about any delays through text or email.
