What payment methods are available in Plush?
Making Payment
A 35% deposit is required to place an order when paying via credit card, debit card or BPay. The remaining balance must be paid 5 business days prior to the delivery of your goods. The remaining balance can be paid securely via the balance payment page, in the showroom, or can be processed over the phone by the Plush Deliveries Team. Delivery cannot be booked until payment has been received in full. Payments cannot be made on delivery. All goods remain the property of Plush until full payment has been received by Plush.
Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled within 2 days of placing the order, a $45 cancellation fee will be charged. If an order is cancelled after 2 days from the purchase date, the deposit monies paid are forfeited.
Changing or Amending an Order
If goods ordered need to be altered or changed, contact with the local showroom should be made immediately. Orders may be amended free of charge within 2 days from the date of purchase. All Plush sofas are bespoke and production starts at the earliest possible time to ensure fast delivery.
Delivery costs in Plush
When a purchase is made with Plush, electing for a carrier arranged for delivery of the goods is subject to specific conditions. It is important for someone to be at home to receive the delivery on the designated day, but a specific time cannot be guaranteed. Instead, a four-hour time frame will be advised. Delivery fees are not included in the order payable to Plush and are to be paid to the driver on the day of delivery via Debit Card or Credit Card, with surcharges potentially applicable.
For metropolitan areas, the Plush premium delivery and assembly fees are separate and are quoted upon request for outside metropolitan areas. Prior to delivery, the remaining balance of the purchase must be settled. Payments can be made in various forms, such as in-store, online via various methods including BPAY, or BPAY prior to delivery, with the understanding that BPAY payments require five business days processing before the scheduled delivery date.
In situations where goods need to be disassembled for delivery due to access issues, additional charges starting from a minimum of $250 plus any additional redelivery fees will apply. Should the delivery need to be rescheduled due to no one being present at the address or cancellation by the customer, a re-delivery charge will be imposed. Additionally, if goods are not collected or delivery is not taken after 21 days from contact by Plush's Despatch Department, a cancellation of the Sales Order occurs, resulting in the forfeiture of all deposit monies paid.
Inspect goods on delivery before signing "Received in good order" as claims for visible damage will not be accepted post signing. In instances of delay beyond the quoted delivery period, delays of up to three weeks are possible. Furthermore, if a customer elects to collect or arrange for collection of the goods, certain conditions apply, such as the requirement for full payment at least 48 hours prior to collection and the provision of the original Sales Order & Payment Receipt at the time of collection.
The goods’ risk passes to the customer upon delivery or collection from Plush’s Distribution Centre or stores. Once the goods have been collected from the Distribution Centre, Plush will not accept claims for any damages. To facilitate collection, appointments must be made with Plush's Despatch Department 48 hours prior to pickup, and pickups must be conducted by appointment only, with all the necessary details available on Plush's website.
