Returns Policy
Vavavoom.ie accepts refunds on items within 14 days from the order date, excluding the delivery charge, consistent with S.I 484/2013- European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013. For UK (ex. Northern Ireland) and European (ex. Ireland) customers, items must be returned within 28 days to ensure a refund.
Items that cannot be refunded for health and hygiene reasons include pierced jewellery or beauty products. For a refund guarantee, items must be returned in original condition with tags attached and original packaging, free of makeup/tan stains, unworn, unsoiled, undamaged, and without any smoke or other odours. If these conditions are not met, the items will be rejected, and the customer must arrange for their collection or cover the cost of return delivery.
Refunds are contingent on items being returned undamaged and within the specified time frame, starting from the date on the delivery note. Late items may be sent back to the customer at their own expense. Include a reason for the return on the delivery note, which must be sent back with the item to process the refund.
Faulty Items
Claims for damaged goods must be made within two days of receipt. Items damaged intentionally or through wear are not considered faulty.
Cost of Returns
Customers are responsible for the return shipping cost unless the item is faulty. A €4 charge applies for the use of An Post's return service, available to Republic of Ireland customers only, and will be deducted from the refund. Proof of postage should be obtained, and it may take up to 10 working days after receipt for the refund to be processed.
The An Post prepaid returns label may not be included in every order. If a label is not present, items can be returned to Vavavoom.ie at the address provided, with the rate depending on the postal service used and at the customer's expense.
International and Northern Ireland Returns
Returns from outside Ireland can be sent via the customer's chosen courier service to the Vavavoom.ie address. Costs depend on the courier and are the customer's responsibility. DPD returns are offered for Northern Ireland customers with instructions found at the provided link.
Additional import charges may apply for returns from outside the EU. These charges can be paid directly at anpost.com/paycustoms to release the parcel and process a refund. For questions about customs charges, visit anpost.com customs information.
