How to return an order in Rentomojo?

Cancellation & Return Policy

1. Modifying Orders:

   Orders can be modified up to one day before the scheduled delivery date through customer helpline, website/app chat, or email. Modify the order may result in a change of the delivery date and time. Rent and deposit will be adjusted as per the current rates at the time of order modification. The monthly rental amount will be recalculated based on the new items chosen.

   Moving products to a different address than the one stated in the delivery address requires notifying Rentomojo. For address changes or relocation assistance, contact must be made or a relocation request raised via the customer dashboard two weeks prior to the event.

2. Order Cancellation:

   An order can be canceled without any extra cost until one day before the agreed date of delivery. Once delivered, the order cannot be canceled.

3. Return at Delivery:

   If the product condition is unsatisfactory due to defects or non-functionality at the time of delivery, it may be returned immediately. Any returns must be notified at the time of delivery as returns are not available after the delivery team has exited the premises post order delivery confirmation. It is advised to check product dimensions before placing an order to ensure suitability as returns based on dimension discrepancies are not accepted.

4. Early Rental Subscription Closure:

   Early termination requests for rental subscriptions must be made by notifying Rentomojo 7 days before the chosen date. Early closure charges will apply for products returned before the end of the tenure. Closure requests can be made through logging into the RentoMojo account, selecting 'New Request', 'Close Subscription', the products for return, and a convenient return date.

   To avoid early closure charges, consider relocating the subscription to a city within RentoMojo's operational cities, or transfer the subscription to someone else to nullify the early closure charges. 5. Early Closure Charges:

   Early closure charges, applicable for returns made before the tenure's end, are calculated based on the selected tenure and product category. Charges are multiples of the Monthly Rent and specified within the customer dashboard or contract.

6. Refundable Deposit:

   Post the quality check of returned products and clearance of pending dues, refunds will be initiated to the customer's account, credited within 7–9 working days to the Bank account registered under the customer's name. For refunds to a different account, customer support should be contacted.

   If there are damages to the rented products, an inspection will occur at Rentomojo's warehouse to assess the damage costs, which will be deducted from the refundable amount.
