Returns Policy Details:

• Online orders can be returned within 30 days of delivery, in-store purchases within 14 days of purchase.
• Product must meet criteria to be re-saleable – new, unused, unopened, original packaging, unwashed and with labels intact.
• Certain products excluded for hygiene reasons (maternity/nursing bras, breast pumps and accessories, toileting products, reusable and swim nappies).
• Clearance products are non-refundable but can be exchanged for a credit.

• If an item is faulty, babycity will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.

Payment methods available at BabyCity include several options catering to different customer needs.

• Layby:

  This service is available in-store only for items that have a minimum value of $20. To initiate a layby, a minimum 10% deposit of the full value of the goods is required. The duration and terms of layby vary according to the purchase amount:

  • For laybys up to $300, the term is 6 weeks.
  • Laybys ranging from $301-$500 have an 8-week period.
  • Laybys between $500-$800 span 10 weeks.
  • And for laybys of $801 or more, the term extends to 13 weeks.

  It is important to note that overdue or cancelled laybys incur a 10% administration fee, and for end of season sales or clearance item laybys, a 50% deposit is required with a validity of 2 weeks.

• Afterpay:

  Acceptable both in-store and online, it allows customers to split their payment into 4 installments, payable every two weeks, with the first installment due at the time of purchase. There are no fees for on-time payments, but late payment fees apply. The service is suitable for orders up to $2000, with eligibility criteria including a New Zealand card, being over 18 years old, and having a New Zealand residential address.

• Online Eftpos:

  This method enables payment with a mobile number and a participating bank's app, suitable for customers without a credit card. Participating banks include ASB, Co-op, Heartland, and Westpac. Customers select Online EFTPOS at checkout, enter their mobile phone number, and approve the payment within their mobile banking app.
